The island is only about 38 square miles surrounded by water and the land contains more water: the lagoon. The pub crawl combines boating with the island's two best tourist experiences: eating and drinking. Meet at Turtle Pier at 6:30 PM to be ready to shove off at 7:00 PM. We head off to two other lagoon-side pubs for drinks and grub before we return to Turtle Pier for fabulous ribs, wings and conch fritters and a few more drink. This is probably the best snorkeling on St Martin and here are two ways to see the sea turtles, barracuda, tangs, puffers, moray eels, lobsters, starfish, trunkfish, and more. The Grand Case Beach Club Activities desk will zip you out to Créole Rock in a couple minutes and a divemaster will guide you through the warm and crystal-clear waters for an hour and a half. Use the coupon on their website and you can spend the afternoon on the beach chairs at no extra charge. |
| Random Wind also takes you out to Créole Rock, but it is part of an all day sail from Simpson bay on the southern side of the island around the beautiful western coast with stops at Bay Long and Friar's bay (conditions permitting) and an extended snorkel around the rock. they have snacks and drinks plus a great lunch along the way. |

It may be a stretch but both Tri Sport and Tropical Wave have kayaks. TriSport is on the lagoon in Simpson Bay and Tropical Wave is on Galion Beach. They also have windsurfers and paddle boats! For even more ideas, check out our charter boat listings. |
